Hui Ye Lawyers Honored with 2026 IP Service Talents Editor's Recommended Award by IP Shanghai Intellectual Property Observer

On April 26, 2026, IP Shanghai Intellectual Property Observer announced the editor's recommended list of 2026 IP Service Talents. Weixia JIN, partner at Hui Ye Law Firm; Yan'e HE, lawyer and patent attorney at Hui Ye; and Shenyi HU, lawyer at Hui Ye, were respectively included in the recommended list as IP Service Talents, IP Aggressive Service Star and IP Rising Service Star for their outstanding professional capabilities and extensive experience in IP services.

The Shanghai IP Service Talents - Editor's Recommended Award is established by the editorial department of IP Shanghai Intellectual Property Observer. It aims to discover and recommend outstanding individuals and pioneers in the Shanghai intellectual property service industry, promote the innovative and rapid development of Shanghai's intellectual property service industry, and support the construction of Shanghai as a science and innovation center. Recipients of the IP Service Talents award represent a high level of service and notable achievements in the intellectual property service industry.

Weixia JIN is a partner and patent attorney at Hui Ye Law Firm, with more than 20 years of experience in the intellectual property field. She specializes in intellectual property dispute resolution and cross-border technology trade, with particular expertise in Standard Essential Patents (SEP) and patent pool-related businesses. JIN graduated from Fudan University and Huazhong University of Science and Technology, holding a Master of Laws, a Bachelor of Engineering in Optoelectronic Communication, and a Bachelor of Economic Law. She previously worked at Huawei Technologies Co., Ltd. as a Senior Global Patent Engineer, responsible for global patent portfolio development of product lines, and handling global technology-related intellectual property litigation, licensing negotiations and operations, such as SEP licensing negotiations with Ericsson, litigation with InterDigital, and Sharp patent portfolio management. JIN and her team have represented world-leading companies in the communications sector in a series of patent disputes, patent invalidation cases and administrative litigations against renowned telecommunications enterprises, achieving complete victories.

Yan'e HE is a lawyer, senior patent attorney and senior technology broker at Hui Ye Law Firm. She holds a master's degree from Jiangnan University and has a combined educational background in science, engineering and law. With more than ten years of deep experience in the intellectual property field, she focuses on intellectual property portfolio development and dispute resolution. Her practice covers domestic and international patent application and layout, patent reexamination and invalidation, patent infringement analysis, FTO due diligence, intellectual property litigation, etc. She has long served as legal counsel for many large enterprises and provided professional legal services such as patent invalidation and infringement litigation. HE won the third prize in the 3rd Shanghai Intellectual Property Service Industry Practical Skills Competition. She has authored several professional articles, including An Empirical Study on the Admissibility of WeChat Evidence in Patent Invalidation and Patent Litigation and A Study on Prior Art Defense and Conflicting Application Defense in Patent Infringement Cases, which have been collected by authoritative platforms such as IPRdaily and Wolters Kluwer.

Shenyi HU is a lawyer at Hui Ye Law Firm. She holds a Master of Laws from Shanghai University and has a combined educational background in engineering and law. Since practicing, she has focused on litigation and non-litigation legal services in intellectual property fields such as trademarks, patents and unfair competition. She has participated in handling numerous intellectual property cases including trademarks and patents for well-known foreign-related enterprises, accumulating rich practical experience in foreign-related intellectual property dispute resolution and brand protection.
Before practicing law, HU worked in software development at a state-owned enterprise. This experience enables her to have a thorough understanding of the R&D processes and technology management standards of technology enterprises, accurately grasp the core points of technical solutions, effectively connect technical and legal issues, and provide more targeted intellectual property protection strategies for innovative entities.
