Representative Matters / Transactions:

• Providing end to end legal service to a famous foreign bank in relation to the credit card and digital banking project；

• Representing an asset management company to handle litigation  cases to collect and recover delinquent amount for millions of RMB；

• Providing legal advice to a financial lease company in relation to financial lease business structuring and in charge of drafting the business agreements；

• Representing a world-famous automatic transmission manufacture to solve the dispute with its supplier regarding product quality issue, the disputed amount exceeded RMB 30 million. Tony DONG was only involved in the appealed case with the result of first instance was not in favor of his client, however, Tony DONG successfully convinced the appealed court to  rescind the original judgement and remand the case to the original court for retrial；

• Providing legal service to a Municipality City for its “SPONGE CITY” construction project；

• Providing legal service to Startups in relation to the financing arrangement (including oversea VIE structure)；

• Providing legal service to an oversea pharmaceutical company regarding the cooperation agreement of Covid-19 drug with a domestic pharmaceutical company. 

Work Experience:

Tony DONG graduated from East China University of Political Science and Law (with a bachelor and master's degree), and the further studied international business law at the National University of Singapore and obtained a master's degree.

Tony DONG has dual working experience both as a practicing lawyer and an in-house legal counsel: As a legal counsel, Tony DONG has worked for many Fortune 500 multinational companies (Ingram Micro China, Standard Chartered Bank and etc.), which covered arears such as cross-border trading, financing and banking and etc. As a lawyer, Tony DONG has served many companies to provide general and corporate legal services and dispute resolution solutions.

Before joining Huiye Law Firm, Tony DONG worked in Shanghai Rightway Law Firm as a partner lawyer.
